Victor, is a English Pointer in St. Paul,MN. He last had his rabies vax and DHLPP in 2007, so he should be ok on rabies, and maybe ok on DHLPP. He is not neutered. He is a very sweet boy, and clearly loves Grandma.

Victor is a handsome 6 year old English Pointer that was abandoned by his owner in St. Paul, MN. Victor's owner walked away from his house and mortgage, leaving Victor in his crate. Grandma, the owner's 82 year old mom, has been coming over once a day. She lets him out of the crate and he runs to the water bucket and drinks and drinks. Then she lets him outside to relieve himself. When he comes inside, she feeds him, and then he goes back into the crate till the next day. This has been Victor's life since Christmas, 2008. Today is January 13, 2009.

The family tells us that he has lived in this crate most of the time since he was a puppy. He is now 6 years old! The family has relinquished him to the Minnesota chapter of Illinois Birddog Rescue (IBR). IBR is BEGGING for a foster home to save this boy. A foster home for this handsome energetic dog MUST have a fenced yard.

Note: IBR just received surrendered papers for Victor and will NO LONGER live in a crate. Please help IBR find a foster home to help get him ready for his forever home.
